One of the first events Moleskine organized in 2012 was Moleskine Portraits, an artistic-sensory workshop where portraits were made collaboratively by artists and the public.
The central theme is the portrait and the act of describing ourselves through the places we visit, the images we share, the objects we cling to, the marks we leave behind, the tastes we savor. I was asked to design the promotional materials for this event. To communicate this new concept of the portrait as a quantity of experiences and daily life events, I conceptualized a poster reminiscent of a classical portrait, but with a face composed of different drawings, typographies, images. I had also to realize a small gift invitation sent to VIP, so I converted the face of the portrait in the invitation and included a hand-drawn map of Manhattan for directions to the venue.
