FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano)
Client: FAI (Fondo Ambiente Italiano), 2014
FAI is a national non-profit aimed to promote a tangible culture of respect for Italy's natural heritage, art, history and traditions. It has 20 locations in Italy including natural parks, gardens, castles, villas and natural areas. FAI asked me to develop a visual identity for their merchandising; it had both to reflect FAI in general and its different locations, since it had to be sold in several on-location shops. For this project I developed different concepts together with Alvvino, one based on illustrations, one on patterns, and one more on the architectural aspects using some printed labels. The project was accepted but unfortunately frozen.

Both the illustrations and the pattern concepts were working on a symbols collection representing different architecture details, symbols, and artworks present in the locations of FAI. All together these symbols represented general merchandising, but once isolated and combined in a different way they could refer just to a particular location.
