Bekarei is a fantastic bakery shop located in Berlin, owned respectively by George from Greece and
Paula from Portugal. Their diverse backgrounds bring together an excellent variety of pastries and
bread products, infused with cultural influences from their home countries as well as from Japan
and other cultures.
I had the pleasure of working with Bekarei to redesign their logo, which previously only featured a smiley face and an outdated font. I collaborated with a calligrapher to create a new typography for the logo and developed a visual identity centered around illustrated characters enjoying Bekarei’s products. The resulting identity is
simple and memorable.
