I always likes old engraved wood boxes, places to hide any amount of useless objects, nice objects to look at when closed, so I was quite happy when Moleskine asked me to design the covers and the packaging for its Drawing and Writing boxes. Each is a box with a notebook and writing utensil, but once you take out the items from inside you can keep the box
and use it at home.
For the drawing set I decided to draw a drops pattern to fill the whole cover, and for the writing set I composed by hand a set of words inherent to the writing world. I was happy in the end that the two products combined well with each other. If there is one thing I like better than a box, it’s a collection of boxes!
